Job description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Deburr / General Labor team member to support our production department in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment. Team members will knock metal parts out of sheets using hammers, feed parts into deburring machines to smooth edges, and assist with general production tasks. Employees in this department are cross-trained on multiple tasks to support workflow and production needs.
Pay: $17.00/hour
Shifts Available:
1st shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm. Monday-Friday.
2nd shift: 3:30pm to 2:00am. Monday-Thursday.
Key Responsibilities:
• Knock metal parts out of large metal sheets using hammers
• Feed metal parts into deburring machines to smooth edges and surfaces
• Remove burrs and sharp edges from metal components
• Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Move and transport parts between workstations or departments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Cross-train on multiple tasks within the department as production needs change
Requirements:
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for the duration of the work shift
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, and move frequently throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred but not required Growth & Development Opportunities
